By creating an account, accessing, or using the ES-SCHOOLS platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

ES-SCHOOLS is a comprehensive school management platform that provides:

• Student and staff management systems
• Attendance tracking and reporting
• Academic result management and grading
• Fee management and payment processing
• Communication tools for schools, teachers, students, and parents
• Other educational administration features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use our platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Maintaining the security of your password
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Use automated systems to access the platform without permission

5. Intellectual Property

The ES-SCHOOLS platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

6. Data and Content

6.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create on the platform. By using our services, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your data to provide and improve our services.

6.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data you enter into the platform. We are not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.

7. Payment Terms

If you subscribe to paid features:

• Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to:

• Perform maintenance and updates
• Modify or discontinue features
• Suspend service in case of security threats or violations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ES-SCHOOLS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ES-SCHOOLS, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Any other reason we deem necessary

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
